It’s Fashion East’s 10th birthday in September and Lulu Kennedy is showing 3 new designers – Simone Rocha, Heikki Salonen and Felicity Brown. She discovered and supported Gareth Pugh, Marios Schwab, Richard Nicoll, Holly Fulton, Jonathan Sanders, Roksanda Ilincic and Louise Goldin. I shot Simone and Lulu (above) for Soma. Simone had a hard time getting the netting and the seams right on her fragile collection. Her influences are Maison Martin Margiela, Comme de Garcons and John Rocha.
